PRIVACY POLICY
Your Privacy, Stated Plainly.
Last updated: October 2026
PolicyFuel (available at www.getpolicyfuel.com) provides lead generation services for licensed U.S. insurance professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you. It applies to our website and the lead generation services we provide under our buyer agreements.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers two groups:
- Agents and agencies who inquire about, purchase, or use our lead packages. If you are an insurance professional, you are our direct business contact, and this policy describes how we handle your information.
- Consumers who respond to the advertising campaigns we manage. Consumers who submit a form through an advertisement interact primarily with the advertising platform (such as Meta, which operates Facebook and Instagram) and with the privacy notice shown at the point of submission. Where consumer lead information reaches us, we handle it as described below.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you inquire, book a strategy call, or become a client, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, agency or company name, the states where you are licensed or appoint, your existing customer relationship management (CRM) system, and any details you choose to share about your target market and advertising budget.
- Lead information we process on your behalf. Under a signed buyer agreement, we generate and deliver lead records containing the information a consumer chose to submit through our advertising campaigns — for example, name, contact details, and screening responses. This information is delivered exclusively to the agency that purchased the package, in accordance with that agreement.
- Usage information. Like most websites, we automatically receive standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you view.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions and, where enabled, to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect how parts of the site function.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiries and schedule strategy calls.
- Provide the lead generation services you have purchased, including screening, qualification, CRM delivery, and any separately agreed appointment support.
- Plan, launch, and manage the advertising campaigns that produce your leads.
- Send service communications related to your account, deliveries, and billing.
- Operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell consumer lead information. Lead records are delivered exclusively to the purchasing agency under the terms of its signed buyer agreement.
4. Advertising platforms
Our campaigns run on third-party advertising platforms, principally Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Those platforms process information about the people who see and respond to our advertisements under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Consumers who submit information through an advertisement should review the privacy notice presented at the point of submission and the platform's own privacy policy for details about how the platform handles that data.
5. How we share information
- With the purchasing agency. Lead records are delivered exclusively to the agency that purchased the package, through the delivery method agreed in its buyer agreement (including CRM handoff where configured).
- With service providers. We share information with vendors who help us operate the business — for example, hosting, CRM, scheduling, and communication tools — under agreements that restrict how they use it.
- With advertising platforms. We share the information necessary to run and optimize campaigns, as described in Section 4.
- As required by law. We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, legal process, or regulatory requests, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- In a business transfer. If PolicyFuel is ever merged, acquired, or reorganized, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to fulfill our contracts, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and to resolve disputes. Lead records and campaign data are retained and disposed of in accordance with the retention terms of the applicable buyer agreement and applicable law.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us so we can investigate.
8. Your choices and rights
- Marketing communications. You can opt out of service or marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions and the terms of your buyer agreement.
- U.S. state privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know, delete, or opt out of certain data uses. To exercise any right, contact us as described below.
- Consumers in our campaigns. If you responded to one of our advertisements and want to exercise privacy rights regarding information held by the advertising platform, please contact that platform directly; you may also contact us and we will assist where the information is in our control.
9. Children's privacy
Our website and services are directed to insurance professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the website or directly to active clients.
11. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to exercise your rights, contact us through the strategy call booking form on this website or through your PolicyFuel account manager.
